Bata believes in strengthening communities, but not at arms-length. Our employees are encouraged to volunteer actively in the number of ongoing opportunities at Bata, whether through our Bata Children’s Program, training participants in our social enterprises, or playing a role in charitable events. On any given day around the world, a Bata community initiative is happening on the ground, and there is never a shortage of employees dedicating their time and enthusiasm toward important issues.

Our Bata culture of service is unique. Because our company was founded on values of making people’s lives better, we have embraced volunteerism as part of our jobs, and in a greater sense, part of our citizenship to a shared world.
